ABOUT
Georgia born and bred pop-country artist Abigail Mae is here to make her mark. At the intersection of confidence and vulnerability, her music is a breath of fresh air blends the classic edge of Miranda Lambert and Lainey Wilson with the refreshing spirit of Ella Langley and Megan Moroney. She’s the latest in a lineup of breakout female country artists who match sincerity with plenty of authentic sass.
After a year spent honing her sound, Abigail arrives with her 2025 debut EP, Almost Over It. With this collection, a deeply honest exploration of what it means to move on from a toxic relationship, Abigail’s self-conviction takes root. From the beachy, breezy single “Takin’ Shots” to the incendiary anthem of focus track “Better Man,” she’s clearly in her strike zone, doling out hooks and heart in equal measure.
Almost Over It is rounded out by the bluesy bite of “How to Swim,” which channels the cathartic thrill of karaoke classics like “Before He Cheats,” while tracks like “Devil’s In the Details” and “Obsessed with Texas” fuse timeless chord progressions with girl-next-door charm. For the tender closing track “Sometimes,” she turns a hopeful eye to the future, delivering a promise that she's just beginning. Her pen has only just begun spilling its stories.
“Music can make people feel anything,” Abigail says, noting that leading with kindness is paramount as her catalog of music continues to grow — even if she’s incredibly likely to sit down with her guitar and notebook to knock out a tune about keying a car and getting revenge on anyone who does her dirty.
With a recent debut at Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Cafe under her belt, alongside a number of ASCAP’s writer’s rounds, this is just the beginning of what’s shaping up to be her breakout era. With a sound that’s fully locked in, Abigail Mae isn’t just arriving — she’s here to stay.
